Last weekend Rossmore’s Pierce Purcell team played Ballyclare at Lurgan in the Ulster semi-final of the Pierce Purcell foursomes matchplay championship. After a close encounter Rossmore advanced to the Ulster Final for the second year in a row. This is an excellent achievement and the team will hope to go one step further this year and win the Ulster title. The final is fixed for Sunday 11th Aug at Balmoral Golf Club Belfast.
