On Thursday Seamus McQuaid shot 40pts to claim 1st place in the Thursday Open singles with the consistent Dermot McCrystal second with 39pts.. Third was John McQuaid on 38pts and the Gross was won by Ronnie Berry with an excellent score of 36pts
