The Rossmore Pierce Purcell team under the captaincy of Eugene McGinnity this week head to Royal Tara Golf Club in County Meath where they will contest the All Ireland finals over 3 days and hopefully return home as All Ireland Champions.

The team consists of 10 players playing in pairs in foursome format. The squad is led by the Captain Eugene McGinnity and Gerry McMahon both now playing their best golf of this season. . Brendan Casey and his normal partner Padraig Trappe a strong and very reliable combination. Adrian Trappe and Dermot McMahon have huge experience and are difficult to beat. John Heffernan and Alan Finnegan teamed up for the first time at the Ulster Finals and look a formidable combination. Michael McQuaid and Darren Connolly have grown as a paring this year and both are in good form. The final pairing of the experience Malachy Deery and the expert matchplayer John McKenna when on form are a very good foursome combination.
This squad will wear the Rossmore colours with pride and will represent the club with honour and true sportsmanship this week.
The team has received much appreciated sponsorship from the Hillgrove Hotel, Terry’s Bar Market Street and Rossmore Golf Club.
