Rossmore Golf Club are delighted to announce that local Corcaghan company McElvaney’s Waste & Recycling will once again sponsor the Club Classic scheduled for Rossmore Golf Club on Saturday 5th September 2015. McElvaneys have a long association with the club and they are the leading local company for all domestic and commercial waste collection with the company working at the landfill site at Scotch Corner from where they also run their hugely successful recycling business. Speaking at the launch of the Classic at Rossmore last Thursday Director Mr Hugh McElvaney stated that his company were delighted to be associated with the annual event that generates vital funds for the club and he also appreciated the business that his company enjoy from the members of the club. Hugh himself is a very popular member of Rossmore and enjoys a round of golf in his spare time.
In a change this year to the format the club have  announced that the classic will be a TWO PERSON TEAM Event. This will be an open event and all visitors are welcome. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and ladies team prize. The entry fee is €60 per team and tee times can be booked on line or by contacting the club at 0477122 or 047 81316.
The golf event will be followed by a barbecue, presentation and entertainment.
Members are asked to support this event and encourage friend from other local clubs to come and play Rossmore in its current splendid condition.
