A huge congratulations to the Challenge Cup Team who overcome the Clandeboye ladies in the semi-final on Sunday 9th August at Spa Golf Club in Ballynahince. So Mary Nelson and the Challenge Cup Team are off to play in Massereene. The team will meet the Malone ladies in the final on August 23rd in Massereene Golf Club, Co Antrim. This is a wonderful achievement for the Rossmore ladies who are down to the last 2 out of a total of 64 teams who started out. The journey began by meeting Clones in April for a home and away, resulting in a win. Next to beat Dungannon in May. Then to Bangor in June and won on return. Met Armagh in July and again came away with a win, taking the team through to the semi-final in Ballynahince. Their success continues now to the final in Massereene against the Malone ladies. The team captain Mary Nelson, her team with caddies and supporters were in jovial mood heading off by bus to the semi-final on Sunday and you can imagine their delight on the journey home. After this great result, Mary and her team would appreciate as much support as possible for the final on the 23rd August.
