A great number of participants turned up for the St Patrick’s Day Open Mixed Foursomes competition. Where most had a good dry round, the weather did produce a few drizzly showers at times. The club Vice Captain Donal Guckian and Ann Malone were in fine form on the day and came in with the winning score of 66 ½, they were closely followed by Tania Macklin and Mark Stirrat with a 67. The club secretary Bertie Geary and Kanita Crawford returned an equally respectable score of 68. Well done to all the winners. A huge word of thanks to the competition sponsors Mc Elvaney Motors Ltd.
