On Friday 9th Aug and Saturday 10th Aug members competed in a club singles stroke competition with Golfer of the Year points at stake
Again the winner with a splendid score of 63.was Patrick Macklin who was another to feature on Captains weekend. Patrick has returned to form this summer with his accuracy off the tee and razor sharp short game now at his very best. But in second place also on 63 was Paul McQuaid with a score that would win most weekends. The gross went to Ronnie Berry on 74 and third was Ronan Loughran also with a very good 65.
