On Friday 23rd and Sat 24th August this weekend Rossmore members will contest what is regarded as the second major of the year when the President’s Prize will be up for grabs.
Madam President Della Hunt is wished a very enjoyable few days and a large turnout of members is guaranteed to contest this much sought after prize.
The presentation of prizes will take place at 9.30pm on Saturday night.
Likely winners could come from the players who just missed out on the Captains Prize such as Seamus Deery or Paul Treanor who have the shots and are in good form. Can Patrick Macklin continue his recent good form to stake a claim. Others who could feature are Paul Bennett, James Corrigan, Francis Beggan or Jim Fanning.
