On Thursday Val Forde claimed 1st place with 40pts to claim his first singles victory showing that practise makes perfect.. He just prevailed from Jack McDonnell on 39pts with the returning Sylvester Quinn 3rd on 39pts. The Gross was once again won by Ciaran Lavery with an excellent score of one under gross score of 37pts
