Usually for the Open Rose Bowl we think of nice sunny weather, but this year although it was dry overhead the day was cool and damp. But the weather did not deter the winner, all the way from Armagh Golf Club and claimed the highly sought after prize, was Elizabeth Mawhinney with 37 points, congratulations to Elizabeth on her big win. In 2nd place was Ann Kinsella with 36 points and the gross went to Nuala Kilroy with 20 points.
The category winners were Cat 1: Ann Lillis with 34 points, Cat 2: Therese Cunningham with 34 points and Cat 3: Eilish Mc Quaid with 32 points.
First 9 holes was won by Nancy Mc Kenna with 19 points and second 9 went to Michelle Mc Quillan with 21 points.
The Men’s 18 Hole Stableford Competition was won by Sean Moyna with 39 points and 2nd place went to Cian Mc Gonnell with 36 points, gross was won by Ronnie Berry with 35 points.
