Last weekend Rossmore Golf Club witnessed the years rolling back as some of the long serving and most senior members of the club came to the fore in the Dawson Patton Singles competition. Pride of place went to the winner Jim Connolly with a splendid 67. Jim is one of Rossmores most popular and long serving members and his fine victory shows that the senior brigade are still a force to be reckoned with.

Second was the young up and coming golfer Darren Connolly also on 67. The gross went to the consistent Ronnie Berry with 75 gross. Third was another of the seniors club Joe Kelly on 68 and the Junior prize went to Cian McGonnell.
