So far this year Rossmore has witnessed a number of first time winners and another one added his name to the list on Sunday last when Declan McBride shot a 68 to claim the Dawson Patton Cup. Declan is the man with a big hurling background and he used all his skills to pull off a great victory on Sunday. In second was 2 handicapper and the ever consistent and reliable Ronie Berry who shot a level par 71 for a nett 69. In third place and playing some terrific golf at present and now down to a 3 handicap also with a 69 was Sylvester Quinn.
