There is a nine hole Stableford event running this week from:
TUESDAY 10TH NOVEMBER THRU TO FRIDAY 13TH NOVEMBER. (LUCKY FOR SOME)
The President of the golf club Mr. Sean Kilroy is celebrating his 70th birthday on Friday and he has decided to run an event for charity.
Sean’s charity is the ‘St. Vincent De Paul Charity’.
This charity does immense work in the Monaghan area and beyond and we would ask everyone to take part especially with Christmas just around the corner.
The competition format is the same format as the winter league and should enable people to play in both events easily at the same time.
As this is a non counting event it does not contravene the rule about two singles competitions being played at the same time.
Entries are taken in the golf shop.
The fee is €5.00 per person.
ANY ADDITIONAL DONATIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
THE PRESENTATION OF PRIZES IS ON FRIDAY NIGHT AT 7.30PM THERE WILL BE FINGER FOOD FOR EVERYONE WHO ATTENDS.
